Part 05

The night before, just when he finally gave up on calling the Police or an ambulance from my phone, which for some reasons was out of power, Philospher Noo returned to attend to the young man he had left to get some help. The rain had only just subsided. Thus, he decided to cover him with his jacket, which was also a knee length rain coat. Having removed the coat from his shoulders, he made to check it’s pockets for his wallet and I.D. before covering him. He fished out his wallet, but  after checking the rest of the coat and coming up with nothing more, he forgot in the rain coat: his company’s identification cards and his bank card. But he did not note this until he was well home and dry, half asleep in exhaustion thinking of the next day’s activities scheduled in his phone. In his sleep, half aroused, he felt the desire to jump up and out of the bed in anger. But he sighed and turned in his sleep; the next day would take care of itself.
Part 04

Kidnapping? How they did it was both astounding and difficult to visualize. I mean there were so many people out there in the hotel. They must have drugged him, he felt a dangerously painful headache in his forehead. He struggled to get up, still damp from yesterday’s rain. Somehow he would have to make it in time to the hotel with no money and no phone.
By 10 O’clock in the morning Anjali Orwenich knew her friend; Joachim was missing. She had called his mobile phone twice before heading out to his room to check on him, but his absence becomes uncanny. When the room was opened by one of the hoteliers and a cleaner they discovered that the bed had hardly been slept in and that the room had looked like it had been hurriedly cleaned up as if  there was not a sign of him; that he spent the night in the room.

She called at the hotel security to inquire if they could see how and where he went, on the hotel security cams. The cameras showed that he had gone to the lobby at about one A.M. at night. and then after a while, about 45 minutes later, he went to the smokers’ room where there were a good number of other smokers. She wasn’t told this though. She decided not to call in the Police, as he had only been missing for a night. Subsequently, she too, stepped out for the day.
